Activist Martez D. R. Smith, LMSW, is a doctoral candidate in Nursing and Health Sciences at the University of Rochester School of Nursing. He also cofounded the Keeping Ballroom Community Alive Network. In this publication Martez educates the public on how to combat the HIV/AIDS pandemic.
